ABOUT THIS COURSE

During this series of classes Mags will cover many different topics sharing her wealth of knowledge and expertise. This will include different artists and themes; this term there will be two tours*. One trip to the National Gallery to see the ‘Turning Heads’ Exhibition plus one other tbc.

This class is not a lecture but takes the form of an interactive class. The idea is that everyone can understand and enjoy the artwork that we look at as well give their opinions or ask questions. No previous knowledge at all is required. Suitable for anyone with a keen interest in understanding images. There’s also an option to join the trip to Paris in January.

Materials needed

Something to jot down notes of paintings or artist of interest or just come as you are ready to enjoy this incredibly informative and fabulous class.

*The entrance fees or other expenses for the tours are not included in the class price.

Meet mags

Mags is a practising artist. She trained at the Beaux-arts in France. She has been teaching Art Appreciation for several years and is on the guide panel and the artist panel at the National Gallery of Ireland giving tours, lectures and workshops.
