Class and Workshop places
Places in our classes and workshops are offered on a first come, first served basis to individuals, once payment has been made. If a course is over subscribed or has insufficient subscription to allow it to proceed, the student may be offered the option of a transfer to another class or workshop, or a refund of their course fee.
Unfortunately it is not possible for us to pro-rate courses. It is not possible to reimburse individuals for missed classes. Even if students know in advance that they cannot attend one of the dates of the course/block that they have signed/or wish to sign up for. All classes must be paid for in advance regardless of attendance.
The class or workshop fee is not refundable after 7 days before the start of the class of the term unless the chosen course is cancelled.
A minimum of 7 days notice must be given by students before the start-date of the workshop/the first class of the term in order to qualify for a refund. An administration fee of 10% will be retained by the Schoolhouse for Art. If the booked space can be filled, the Schoolhouse for Art will endeavour to return all incurred expense. If a class or workshop is cancelled by a student in less than 7 days no refund can be offered. However, the Schoolhouse for Art will endeavour to fill the place and make a total refund.
Schoolhouse for Art reserve the right of admission. Participants must be at least 18 years of age in order to participate in our Adult Art Classes and Workshops, individuals younger than this may not be excluded but will require parental/guardian consent.
