MEET EDEL CAMPBELL
Edel Campbell is a visual artist based in Dublin. She studied fine art in NCAD and completed an M. Sc in Multimedia Systems in Trinity college Dublin. Her work has been selected for many group exhibitions including The Royal Hibernian academy, Dublin, The Royal Academy of Arts, London, The Royal Ulster Academy, Belfast, The Hunt Museum, Limerick and The Royal College of Physicians Dublin. Solo exhibitions include Cavan County Museum, The United Arts Club, Dublin, The Torah Gallery, Ashbourne Civic Offices and most recently in The Customhouse studios and Gallery, Westport. Her work has been purchased for many corporate and private collections, including The Office of Public Works, AXA Insurance and The Irish Management Institute.
In addition to her studio practice Edel has over 25 years experience working as a freelance arts facilitator. She has designed and delivered a variety of tailored art projects and workshops for Community Engagement and Education programs, working with Dublin City Council, Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown County Council, Meath County Council, The LAB Gallery (Dublin), and the National Gallery of Ireland.
