Terms and Conditions for Schoolhouse for Art Tutorials

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before purchasing or using any digital art tutorials ("Tutorials") from Schoolhouse for Art ("we," "us," "our," or the "School").

By accessing, purchasing, or using our Tutorials, you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not purchase or use our Tutorials.

1. Intellectual Property Ownership

1.1. Our Ownership:
All Tutorials, including but not limited to video content, audio, lesson materials, workbooks, PDFs, images, concepts, techniques, and the curriculum presented within them, are the intellectual property of Schoolhouse for Art and the respective tutoring artist(s) who created them.

1.2. Copyright:
The Tutorials are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We and our tutoring artists retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Tutorials, including all associated copyrights and trademarks.

1.3. No Transfer of IP:
Purchasing access to a Tutorial grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to view the content for your personal, non-commercial use for the duration of your active subscription. You are not acquiring any ownership rights to the intellectual property contained in the Tutorials.

2. License Grant and Restrictions

Upon successful payment of the recurring subscription fee, you are granted a single-user license to access and view the Tutorial for your personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes for as long as your subscription remains active and you maintain full, timely payment.

You are strictly prohibited from:

  • Reproducing, duplicating, copying, or re-selling the Tutorial or any part of it.

  • Publicly performing, displaying, or broadcasting the Tutorial (e.g., in a classroom, workshop, or public venue).

  • Sharing your login credentials or allowing any third party to access the Tutorial.

  • Downloading, screen-recording, capturing, or distributing the Tutorial by any means, whether electronic or mechanical.

  • Creating derivative works based on the Tutorial, such as your own tutorials that replicate our unique methods or content.

  • Using the Tutorial for any commercial purpose, including teaching the same material in your own classes without our express written permission.

3. Purchases, Subscription, and Access

  • Recurring Subscription Fee: Access to our library of Tutorials is granted through a recurring subscription fee, billed on a monthly or annual basis (as selected at checkout). By purchasing, you authorise us to charge your payment method automatically at the beginning of each billing cycle until you cancel.

  • Access is Tied to Active Subscription: Your right to view and access the Tutorials is conditional on your maintained active subscription status. The videos are not intended for long-term or perpetual access. If for any reason your subscription is canceled or terminated for any reason (including non-payment) by us, your access to all Tutorials will be revoked immediately.

  • Refund Policy: Due to the digital nature of our Tutorials and immediate access granted upon payment, we do not offer refunds for subscription fees, including for partial billing periods or after cancellation. You can cancel your subscription at any time to stop future billing.

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will stop future billing, but will not generate a refund for the current billing period. You will retain access until the end of your pre-paid billing period.

4. User-Generated Content & Conduct

Some Tutorials may include community features (e.g., comment sections, forums). You are solely responsible for any content you post. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, or infringes on any third-party rights.
