aBOUT THE CLASS
Would you like to joyfully be able to draw and paint the ordinary everyday objects you see around you? Your morning coffee perhaps, or your favourite teapot? That illicit croissant crumbling on its plate? A kiwi sliced, half an avocado? A glass vase filled with summer blooms? Even a bottle of wine (or do you prefer a gin and tonic?) Maybe with a view of turning your art into cards or gifts for family and friends.
During this course Stephanie will bring you through the process of learning how to draw and use watercolour in an expressive but realistic style to capture the day to day world around you. With her guidance you will explore the process of mark making using different tools including pencil, pen and brush. She will teach techniques to practice drawing with confidence and without fear of making mistakes, and bring you through the joyful use of watercolours to bring your sketches to life.
This course is suitable from complete beginners upwards.
